Senate Introduces Resolution Naming October National Medicine Abuse Awareness Month

On Wednesday, Sept. 12th, the U.S. Senate introduced a resolution naming October National Medicine Abuse Awareness Month. The resolution, sponsored by U.S. Senators Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), urges communities to carry out programs and activities to educate parents and youth of the potential dangers associated with prescription drug abuse and over-the-counter cough medicine abuse.
