Get Involved
KFP serves as a statewide advocate of policies that will reduce
the use of alcohol and other drugs by youth and promote healthy
communities. KFP develops an annual advocacy agenda and enlists
others in prevention to become active advocates. KFP has assisted
in raising awareness about underage drinking and most recently,
the loophole in Paul's Law, which the Kansas Legislature fixed
during the 2007 Session. KFP, along with other partners,
also played an important role in the passage of keg registration
legislation.

neighborhoods and schools throughout the nation.
Research tells us that parents are the single
most important factor in keeping their kids alcohol and drug-free.
Since parents spend much of their time at work, employers can help
share information that will help parents in their efforts to keep
their kids free of alcohol and other drugs.
