About Us
Kansas Family Partnership, Inc., (KFP) is a highly-respected, non-profit, private
agency that has been providing research-based drug and alcohol prevention
resources and training opportunities for individuals, organizations and policy-makers
throughout Kansas for over a decade. KFP is part of a statewide prevention
infrastructure that includes state and local entities such as
the Kansas Regional Prevention Centers that serve all 105 counties in the state,
community coalitions and grassroots organizations, law enforcement, and the
Kansas Army National Guard Drug Demand Reduction Unit. In addition, KFP is
a member of many national organizations and professional associations in
the prevention community.
Kansas Family Partnership grew out of a statewide initiative adopted
in 1991 known as the Kansas Family Initiative. In 1995, the Kansas
Family Initiative became Kansas Family Partnership, Inc., and was
established as a not-for-profit organization.

to over 7,000 readers and sent to more than 150 subscribers electronically;
- A vast website that provides instant access to valuable prevention
information, training and resources;
- A monthly e-newsletter for community coalitions and others interested in prevention information throughout the state;
- RADAR (Regional Alcohol and Drug Awareness Resources) – providing
free prevention printed and audio/visual materials to individuals and organizations in Kansas;
